The rating of Rosmolodezh took into account the implementation of various directions of state youth policy in the regions of the Russian Federation. According to the results of 2019, the Tomsk region rose from sixth place to fourth in the Siberian Federal District, in the all-Russian rating – from 47^th to 36^th.

“Improving the position of the Tomsk region in the ranking of state youth policy implementation is the result of serious and painstaking work. I would like to note that we have become a worthy competitor to neighboring regions,” said Kirill Antonov, chairman of the youth policy committee of the regional department for youth policy, physical culture and sports.

The resulting place of the Tomsk region in the rating of Rosmolodezh was influenced by the successful performance of the regional team in the final of the all-Russian game "Zarnitsa" (3^rd place), the holding of the first regional youth forum "Smorodina", the active participation of Tomsk youth in federal forums (more than 250 people became participants in the forum campaign), support of youth non-profit organizations and individuals (holding grant competitions and assistance in filling out applications for participation in all-Russian competitions), as well as holding a regional stage and participation of the delegation of the Tomsk region in the festival "Russian student spring".
In addition, in 2019, the Tomsk region became one of the winners of federal competition "Region of Good Deeds" and received a grant to create a resource center for the development of volunteer activities.
