Today, on September 18, Deputy Governor for Industrial Policy Igor Shaturny visited the production sites of Tomsk Electric Drive Plant JSC.

Director of TOMZEL JSC Oleg Nikiforov told the Vice-Governor that the company produces about three thousand units of products annually. The most in demand are explosion-proof electric drives for controlling shut-off and control pipeline valves of various diameters and pressures, Diogen devices for washing bottom sediments in tanks, gas analyzers, liquid density converters, turbulent rheometers, industrial computers for use in automated process control systems.

The priority direction of ​​development for TOMZEL JSC is the automation of production processes. The plant develops, manufactures and provides maintenance for companies in the fuel and energy complex. The number of customers is over 200, and among the partners are subsidiaries of the Russian oil pipeline company Transneft, enterprises of the Eurasian Economic Union. Now the company is undergoing certification and is preparing to enter non-CIS markets.
As part of product range expansion and the development of research activities, the specialists of TOMZEL JSC have developed, mastered and patented new types of products. Among them – an explosion-proof drill, a temporary power supply kit, a general-purpose industrial electric drive, a liquid density converter.

Tomsk Electric Drive Plant JSC (subsidiary of Transneft Western Siberia JSC) was founded in 1998 to produce import-substituting equipment to be used at the facilities of Transneft PJSC. Over 20 years, the enterprise has produced over 50 thousand units of products. The machine tool park of the enterprise includes over 120 pieces of equipment. About one third of the machines are numerically controlled.
