Tomsk secondary technical school entered the top 100 according to the WorldSkills Russia movement

Tomsk Secondary Technical School of Information Technologies was included in the list of the best professional education organizations of the "Young Professionals" movement (WorldSkills Russia).

The online ceremony of announcing the results of the top 100 was held as part of the business program of the final of VIII National Championship "Young Professionals".

Educational institutions were assessed by experts based on the results of participation of students and teachers in the WorldSkills Russia championships at the regional, national and international levels, the presence of certified experts among teachers, the rating of student involvement in the demonstration exam according to WS standards, the involvement of schoolchildren in the "Ticket to the Future" project, professional training for people over the age of 50.

“Last year, our students Nikita Guzeev and Gennadiy Kovalenko became bronze medalists of the world championship in “Development of solutions using blockchain technologies”. Vladislav Norov joined the expanded ranks of the National Team “Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia) in “Web Design and Development”. For this competence, the Tomsk Secondary Technical School of Information Technologies is traditionally a platform for the training of junior contestants,” director of the institution, Elena Istigecheva, commented on the results of the rating.

The rating of the best colleges in Russia is being determined for the third time. Last year, the Tomsk College of Food Industry, Trade and Services entered the top 100.
