In compliance with a Cabinet of Ministers decree signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Tomsk region will receive additional 650 million rubles from the federal center for the construction and reconstruction of roads.
The Russian government allocated 150 million rubles to the Tomsk region for the final stage of construction of a two-level transport interchange with the Taiga – Tomsk railway with a tunnel intersection at the 76th kilometer and half a billion rubles to continue the reconstruction of the Kamaevka – Asino – Pervomaiskoye motor road. All work will take place this year.
“Thanks to the support of the government, we will complete one of the largest projects in the last five years – the construction of a transport interchange at the 76th kilometer – by the end of the year. Advance funding from the federal budget will allow us to continue the reconstruction of the Kamaevka-Asino-Pervomaiskoye road this year,” said Sergey Zhvachkin, Governor of the Tomsk Region.
As a reminder, the reconstruction of the Kamaevka-Asino-Pervomaiskoye road began in 2017. At that time the road workers reconstructed a section of the highway from 40 to 52 km and built a bridge over the Itatka River. The cost of the work amounted to almost a billion rubles. Earlier, in 2012-2014, dangerous bridge crossings over the Kul and Latat rivers were replaced.
The construction of a two-level transport interchange with the Taiga – Tomsk railway with a tunnel intersection at the 76th kilometer started in 2017. Financing from the federal center amounted to more than 1.8 billion rubles.
“The Governor put under special control the fulfillment of obligations undertaken to the federal center in completing the construction of the interchange and continue the reconstruction of the Kamaevka-Asino-Pervomaiskoye highway,” said Igor Shaturny, Deputy Governor for Industrial Policy.
