In the Tomsk region, 58 thousand students study at six state universities, one private university and four branches of universities based in other cities, as well as 24 thousand students at colleges and technical schools.

On Saturday, Students' Day, almost a hundred events were organized for them on venues in Tomsk and in the areas of the region: sports and entertainment contests, giveaways, flash mobs, quests, concert programs.

Tomsk State University invites everyone to a sports festival, which will be held at Lake Mavlyukeevskoye tomorrow, January 25, from 17:00 to 19:00. Students are in for competitions, quizzes, exhibition performances of professional trampoline tumblers and free treats.

The event will end with a solemn line up of the Tomsk regional branch of youth organization “Russian Student Work Teams” on the occasion of sending work teams called “Snow landing force” to the areas of the Tomsk region.
