Governor Sergei Zhvachkin who participated in the announcement of the Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly today, on January 15, highlighted that the address of the head of the state had become a breakthrough for the country and its citizens. As the Governor emphasized, the presidential address was mainly focused on the growth of income of citizens and social justice.

“The new tasks set by the President today will without exaggeration drastically improve the quality of life of our citizens,”  Sergei Zhvachkin, the Governor of the Tomsk region, said, “A Person became the central character of his address and its intended recipient. You paid attention to the fact that the head of the state addressed not only to the Parliament but also directly to the citizens of the country”     

“The main purpose announced by the President, i.e. to save and increase the population of Russia, has been maintained by unprecedented family support measures,” Sergei Zhvachkin added, “They include a new allowance for children from three to seven years old to those in need, maternity fund even for the first child, privileged mortgage loans, increase of social contracts, healthy hot meals for junior school children, new decisions in the area of health care and many other things.” 

“The President devoted very much attention to the areas of economy, ecology, science and the issues of domestic and foreign policy, modernization of the Constitution. However, in general his address has a strongly pronounced social nature,” Tomsk Governor said, “This is what people primarily expect from the state today. Now, our task is to implement all President’s decisions. I have already given a task to the office to prepare a plan of the presidential address implementation in the region.”
