From December 31, 2019 to January 8, 2020, 171 babies were born in Tomsk - 89 boys and 82 girls. Two twins were born in the regional perinatal center named after I. D. Yevtushenko and in the maternity hospital No. 4.

The first born in 2020 was a girl weighing 2420 grams and a height of 46 centimeters. She was born on January 1 at 01:55 in the maternity hospital No. 4 of Tomsk and became the fourth child in the family.

“Most of the babies - 68 - were born in the regional perinatal center, second belongs to maternity hospital No. 4 - 44 children, third - the Semashko maternity hospital, where 33 children were born. Another 26 children were delivered by doctors of maternity hospital No.1”, said Tatyana Chernobay, chief obstetrician-gynecologist of the regional health department.

She clarified that the largest child - a boy weighing 4530 grams - was born in the regional perinatal center named after I.D. Evtushenko on January 3 at 20:20. The kid became the first-born of a 39-year-old mother.
