European Finswimming Championship begins today, July 30, in Instanbul. The Russian junior national team has three athletes from the V. Shevelev sports and education center.

Tatiana Prichinina will compete in five disciplines: underwater diving (100 m), long diving (50 m), finswimming (100 m) and in finswimming relays 4x100 and 4x200 meters. This was made possible thanks to the high results that Tatiana has shown in the Russian Finswimming Championship that took place in Tomsk in the May of 2018.

Another athlete of the Shevelev youth athletic center will compete in the discipline called finswimming 1500 meters. Both the athletes are fosterlings of their coach Anastasiya Zhidkova.

Stepan Kozlov will strive for victory as part of the finswimming 4x200 relay team. His coach is Aleksandr Goloborod’ko.
